			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="bodytext">St Peter's will be collecting items to send in care packages to our parish youth who are away at college or serving our country in the Armed Forces. We are asking for donations of non-perishable items such as nuts, dried fruits, breakfast bars, cookies, candy, etc.&nbsp; We are also looking for donations of gifts cards for places like McDonalds, Wendy's, WalMart, and iTunes.&nbsp; If you are unsure of what to purchase, cash donations are welcome to help with the cost of shipping.&nbsp; There will be a basket in the back of the church labeled &quot;Care Package Donations&quot;.</p>
<p class="bodytext">This is a wonderful way to say to our youth that we are proud of them and are praying for them. If you have any question please contact <b>Nancy Haines</b> or <b>Jim Scheder</b>.</p>]]></content:encoded>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="bodytext">When January 1, 2011, comes around, the people of St. Peter's will have more to celebrate than just the New Year.&nbsp; On that day, the Reverend Dr. William &quot;Jay&quot; Geisler will become St. Peter's sixth rector.&nbsp; Father Geisler accepted what has to be termed an enthusiastic call from our vestry, based on an equally enthusiastic recommendation from the parish search committee.</p>
<p class="bodytext">&quot;Father Geisler's credentials were very impressive on paper,&quot; said Joe Karas, the search committee co-chair, &quot;but we knew he was the right priest for us after we interviewed him.&nbsp; We spent over three hours talking and sharing ideas with him and were touched by his warmth, compassion and good humor.&quot;</p>
