Clergy and Staff

The Rev. Dr. Luke Zerra has served St. Peter's as Priest-in-Charge since 2023. He holds an M.Div. and Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary. He previously served as Curate at St. Andrew’s, Highland Park and Youth Minister at St. Paul’s, Mt. Lebanon. In addition to St. Peter's, he serves as Interim Dean of the Stevenson School for Ministry in the Diocese of the Susquehanna. He lives with his wife Laura (who is also a priest in the diocese), pug Gus, and daughters. He enjoys reading, playing guitar, listening to music, and hiking.

Nicole Starr is a curate serving the wider Diocese of Pittsburgh. She is currently placed at St. Peter's. She holds an M.Div. from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and was ordained to the diaconate in June 2025. Before serving at St. Peter's, she served at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral; St. Paul’s, Mt. Lebanon; and Emmanuel, North Side.

Rachel grew up attending church at St. Peter's and has countless fond memories of our youth programs. She is very pleased to serve in the role of Parish Coordinator. When she's not at the church, she keeps busy gardening, managing a rental property, and caring for her child and her dog.

Barb's background includes being a trained violinist. She has been the organist, pianist, and soprano vocalist for St Peter’s Episcopal Church for 15 years. Music has always been her passion and she considers it an honor and pleasure to perform in God’s service.
