The Blessing Of the Backpacks

During the August 25th service, we prepared for a new school year with a blessing of the backpacks. Students of all ages were invited to bring their backpacks, knapsacks, satchels, computers, etc. up near the altar for a special blessing.

The 2024 Parish Picnic took place on Sunday, Aug. 18 at Grant Grove in South Park. As always, it started with an outdoor worship service at 10:30 AM, and it was followed by food and fellowship!

Vacation BIble School: Camp Firelight

July 15 - 19, 9AM - noon. Ages 4-14

Camp Firelight VBS, your students will enjoy an interactive, energizing, Bible-based good time on their summer camp adventure with God. They will become Campers and discover how to put their trust in God in every situation.

Fourth of July Cook-Out

Come watch Brentwood borough's annual Fourth of July parade with the parish family! We've got the best front yard to set up your lawn chairs and blankets.

Parade starts at 10AM.

Pentecost Sunday Service at 10:30 AM

The reading of the lesson from Acts showcased several of the languages spoken or studied by our parishioners, including Biblical Greek, Dinka, French, German, and Spanish.

Acts 2:4 "All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them Ability."

Bay Chamber Players present: Spring is Near

Recital including music by Massenet, Beethoven, Boulanger, Bruch, Dauber, & Saint-Saëns, featuring organist Barbara Heidkamp and remembrance pieces composed by Gil Bigenho featuring guest vocalist Barbara Winters.
