Children & Youth

Nursery

Our nursery is available for parents whose children may need a break from services or other church activities. It is equipped with a changing table, a rocking chair, and many toys & books. It also has a speak through which you can listen to the church service.

Youth Group

The St Peter's Youth Group meets at the church twice a month, with special outings such as ice skating and mini-golfing throughout the year. Meetings focus on fellowship and strive to build in the needs and passions of the group members. We actively welcome teens 6th grade and up. Youth Group participants do not need to be members of St. Peter’s.

Babysitting Nights

On the third Friday of each month, St. Peter's Youth Group hosts a Babysitting fundraiser event. Parents can plan an evening out, knowing their children will enjoy time with other children, well-supervised by adults & teens. They’ll participate in activities, games, crafts & quiet time. All proceeds benefit the youth of St. Peter's.

Dates for Fall 2024 are September 20, October 18, November 15, and December 13. Babysitting night comes early in December so that parents might take the opportunity to prepare for Christmas!

Vacation BIble School

For one week every summer, children from our church and the broader community are invited each day to make friends, make crafts, and learn about God! In July of 2024 we hosted our first VBS since before the COVID-19 pandemic, and we look forward to making this an annual event once more!

Christmas Pageant

One Sunday in Advent, the children of St. Peter's present the Christmas pageant to tell the story of Jesus' birth during our regular worship service.

Snow Camp

Our Youth Group ventures to Teen Quest's Snow Camp in the Laurel Highlands each winter. Snow camp is "where adventure and spiritual growth collide!" For more information, visit their website.
